At last years benefit money was raised for the B!NKIES at Claudia A. 30 children between the ages of one to twenty and six grown woman live in this orphanage in Paramaribo. After Bram Verhappen, one of the founders of the B!NK Foundation, volunteered there for five moths, Claudia A was chosen as the first of B!NK’s many projects.
The benefit raised a stunning 10.000 Euro’s. Besides that, the students of the Belgian Tervuren College worked hard for our B!NKIES in Surinam. By selling traditional Flemish Fries at their school they raised money of which 500 Euro’s is destined for our B!NKIES in Surinam.
Urban Myth contributed by collecting at the Night Mass and raising 515 euro’s for our B!NKIES.

District Zuidoost has approved our subsidy request and 5600 euro is added to the B!NK account for the B!NKIES in Surinam. This contribution will go towards financing the tutors amongst other things.
