The B!NK Foundations goal is to invest the raised money in a durable way. That’s why in the case of Claudia A we chose to hire two people: a tutor and an activity guide. In this way the children are being supported in their pedagogical development and they will be better prepared for their future. Game and learning materials were also necessary and we provided them with those.
Besides that it was important to refurbish the beds. Some of the children still wet their beds and they had become filthy and unhygienic. To solve this problem the mattresses are lined with a plastic cover to keep them clean. They can be used for years now!
The money that was raised by Urban Myth was put toward swimming lessons for the children.
